Responsibilities include:

Gather financial information and prepare internal financial reports.
Oversee the implementation of the corporate budget and forecasts.
Prepare monthly P&L statements and variance commentary for each line item.
Provide profit center P&Ls, analyze product mix, and conduct price/volume analysis.
Oversee the preparation of monthly journal entries to complete month end close.
Perform monthly operational spending analysis and provide variance trends.
Development and maintenance of standard cost rates and monthly standard gross margin analyses.
Analysis of manufacturing costs and prepare monthly reporting variances from the standard.
Manage the annual standard cost roll to ensure that product costs are established properly and that costs are appropriately allocated to products.
Provide financial analysis for product and investment decisions.
Work closely with manufacturing to manage purchasing and inventory.
Provide direct and modify the cost accounting system as necessary.
Coordinate the annual physical inventory process.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
5-7+ years of experience in cost accounting or finance within a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience is required.
Hands-on experience working Microsoft Office Suite.
High sense of urgency.
