Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features tailored for Capital Markets, with a focus on Equity and Front Office systems.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by conducting code reviews and implementing best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development, particularly within the financial domain.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in Java development, with a strong emphasis on Microservices and Spring Boot.
Solid understanding of Capital Markets, specifically in Equity and Front Office functionalities.
Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Prefered, but not required:

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
