2025 Canon Insights Summer Internship Canon U. S. A., Inc. is currently hiring for our 2025 Canon Insights Internship Program. The program will be held from Monday, June 2, 2025 - Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Canon is an innovative global digital imaging leader that uses technology to dissolve the barriers we face in the connections we build, the experiences we create, and even the lives we live. We are looking for passionate and experienced students to join the Canon USA team. This is a paid summer internship 10-week robust experience based in our Melville, New York Headquarters. What You'll Do:

• You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects that help you learn, develop business skills, and provide a meaningful contribution to Canon's business and goals.
• You will be exposed to world-class teams and our business, marketing, and strategy initiatives through training, meetings, presentations, and other planned activities.
• You'll gain marketable skills and knowledge that you'll need in transitioning into the workforce.
• You'll come to the office 3 days a week and 2 days with the option to work from home (unless a specific business need arises requiring in-office attendance on other days). This position offers a hybrid work schedule on full-time (9 AM - 5 PM) schedule based on a 35-hour work week. Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.Who You Are:
  • A rising 3rd year student at a U.S. accredited law school.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

      Your Impact
      
      This program is designed to provide hands-on work experience by participating in significant work projects, training, meetings, presentations and activities. The 2025 Canon Insights Summer Internship - Legal Intern will be responsible for the following:
      • The Legal Intern will participate in handling various transactional matters, which may include service agreements, non-disclosure agreements event-related matters, privacy matters, advertising and marketing review and related agreements and matters and employment law matters.
      • The Legal Intern will also participate in conducting legal research related to a variety of laws in areas such as advertising, data security, privacy and employment.
      • The Legal Intern may also have the opportunity to work on some aspects of Litigation if the situation arises.
        
        About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
        
        To succeed in the Insights Program, you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We also require candidates to have some former work or internship experience.
        • Rising 3rd year law student
        • TWO YEARS minimum at a U.S. accredited law school
        • Minimum 3.25 GPA in law school and undergraduate
        • Transcripts may be requested
        • Proficiency in: MS Word, PowerPoint, Westlaw or Lexis/Nexis
        • Writing experience
        • Interest in business, corporate law, advertising law, copyright and trademark law, contracts, data security laws, privacy laws, employment law and technology.We are providing the anticipated rate for this role: $20 - $28 hourly/based on degree level.
